Class 1 Truck Driver, Highway-Owner-Operator

We seek a full-time Class One Tractor Trailer Owner-Operator for transport of LTL and general freight to terminals throughout Western Canada. This is mostly a dock-to-dock operation that will include travel in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory. You will be expected to travel in all weather conditions through prairie, hill and mountain environments. Depending on the destination, you may be expected to transport various trailer-combinations.

You must:

Have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer owner-operator and driving experience that includes mountain and winter conditions;

Be able to drive at night (generally all loads depart between 1900 & 2300);

Be prepared to complete training that will include Classroom Courses, Mountain Qualification Training (with a Coach) and Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Qualification Training;

Own a Highway Tractor no more than 5 years old;

Have less than 5 demerits on your abstract; and

Pass a Criminal Record Search (can be applied for during interview at no cost).

Single Mileage Rate of $1.57 - $1.95 per mile (when hauling LCV) (rates vary by Trailer Combination and Province);
