Class 1 Driver Trainer

TAG Logistics Corporation’s Driver Training Division is looking for a new Driver Trainer team member to pass on their knowledge and expertise in the Transportation Industry to our group of Drivers

Role

Your role as part of our team of Driver Training professionals is to ensure drivers are evaluated and trained to meet our company and government standards.

You will coach and train drivers to ensure they are prepared to successfully be a valued member of our team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this rewarding position you will need the following:

• Hold a Alberta Class 1 Operator’s License and a clean 5 year Class 1 Commercial Driver’s Abstract.
• Minimum 5 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 years LCV experience.
• Positive outlook, and the ability to pass on your knowledge.
• Proven instruction and training skills.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize several training mediums for instruction.
• Strong attention to detail and regular follow ups on outstanding tasks or initiatives to ensure completion in a timely manner.
• We are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation

For your efforts with our training team and success with our trainees we will provide the following compensation package:

• $65,000 - $75,000 (DOQ) on a 5 day, Flexible schedule.
• Some travel required.
• Paid vacation time up to 3 weeks per year.

• Training in a variety of Transportation and Safety related programs.
